# Agent skills

> Install cloro agent skills in Claude Code, Codex, Cursor and other agents, so your agent knows which cloro endpoint to call, what it costs, and how to read the result.

[cloro-dev/skills](https://github.com/cloro-dev/skills) is a public repo of agent skills for the cloro API. A skill is a folder with a `SKILL.md` file that an agent reads when a task matches it. Any agent that reads `SKILL.md` files can use them, for example Claude Code, Codex and Cursor.

## Prerequisites

* Node.js, for `npx`
* A cloro API key from the [dashboard](https://dashboard.cloro.dev), set as `CLORO_API_KEY` (see [Authentication](https://cloro.dev/docs/guides/authentication.md))

## Install

```bash theme={null}
npx skills add cloro-dev/skills
```

To add one skill only, add `--skill <name>`, for example `--skill chatgpt`. Without Node.js, clone the repo and copy the folders under `skills/` into the folder where your agent reads skills.

The skills call the cloro [MCP server](https://cloro.dev/docs/integrations/mcp.md) when your agent has it, and the REST API when it does not.

## Skills

| Skill | Use it for |
| - | - |
| `cloro-api` | Setup, sync or async, credits, errors, limits and countries. Start here |
| `chatgpt`, `perplexity`, `copilot`, `gemini` | One AI answer with its sources, from that engine |
| `google-ai-mode`, `google-ai-overview` | Google's AI answers, with their sources |
| `google-search`, `google-news` | Google results as JSON, by country, city and device |
| `serp-research` | Rank tracking and SERP research at scale, loaded into a warehouse |
| `llm-answer-monitoring` | AI answers for a prompt set, collected with async batches and webhooks |
| `ai-visibility-tracking` | Brand mention rate, citation share and rival share in AI answers |

## Example prompts

* "Ask ChatGPT and Perplexity for the best CRM for startups, and list the sources each one cites."
* "Track the top 100 Google results for these 200 keywords in the US every day, and load them into BigQuery."
* "How often do ChatGPT, Gemini and Google AI Mode name our brand against our three main rivals?"
