Google Gemini places schema - cloro

This section documents the places data returned by the Google Gemini endpoint: the cards Gemini renders above an answer when it detects local or lodging intent, part of the Gemini response so no separate API call is needed. Places appear in the order Gemini ranks them; array index 0 is the top card.

Gemini’s place cards are not sources, and they do not appear in sources or citationPills. An answer can carry places, sources, both, or neither.

Only index, title and link are always present. Gemini leaves the other fields out for cards that carry no such value.
