We’re hiring a Founding Marketer to own SEO and content marketing at cloro. You’ll work directly with the founders to build our organic presence and brand voice across search engines, social platforms, and AI assistants.
About the role
As the first marketing hire, you’ll wear many hats. Technical SEO one day, a LinkedIn post the next, a content calendar the day after. The remit is organic growth across traditional search, AI-powered search (GEO/AEO), and social.
What you’ll do
- Own SEO strategy: technical audits, keyword research, on-page optimization, and link building to grow organic traffic
- Run content marketing across the blog, LinkedIn, and other social channels to build brand awareness
- Develop strategies for AI search visibility (GEO/AEO), aligned with what we help customers do
- Build and manage the content calendar: plan, create, and distribute content that drives traffic, engagement, and pipeline
- Track performance metrics, run experiments, and iterate on what works
- Work with the founders on messaging, positioning, and the go-to-market narrative
What we’re looking for
- Salary: Competitive base salary ($30k-60k) and ARR-based bonus (up to 100% of salary)
- 2-5 years in SEO, content marketing, or growth marketing at a B2B SaaS company
- Strong SEO fundamentals: technical, on-page, and off-page. You can run an audit without a checklist
- Writing chops: blog posts, LinkedIn content, and social copy people actually want to read
- Data-driven: you make decisions based on metrics, not gut feeling
- Interested in AI search and how it’s changing marketing
- Self-starter. You don’t wait to be told what to do
