Bing AI Mode sits next to ChatGPT, Gemini, Google AI Mode and AI Overview on one API key and one credit balance. Adding Microsoft's AI search to a tracking setup is a new endpoint, not a new vendor.
Bing AI Mode is Microsoft's AI search mode in Bing, at bing.com/copilotsearch. Microsoft calls it Copilot Search in Bing. It answers a question with generated text, inline citations and a list of sources. No Microsoft API returns that page as data.
Microsoft retired the Bing Search API v7 on August 11, 2025 (what replaced it). Its successor, Grounding with Bing Search, writes an answer for your own agent inside Azure AI Foundry. It does not return the AI Mode page a searcher sees. cloro reads that page, so you report what Bing AI Mode actually shows.
AI answers change between runs and between markets, so one sample tells you little about where your brand stands. cloro runs each prompt live on every call and takes a country and an optional US state per request. Repeat the prompt set on a schedule and track the trend, not one answer.
Bing AI Mode shows citations inside the answer text and a list of the sources it used. cloro returns both: sources with position, URL, label and description, and citationPills with the cited domain. You see which pages Bing used and which domains it showed inline.
Collecting Bing AI Mode yourself means running browsers, routing traffic through each market you track, and keeping a parser in step with the page. cloro does that work and returns JSON, so your team works on the analysis, not on the collection.

Yes, if you mean the AI answer page in Bing search. Microsoft calls it Copilot Search in Bing, at bing.com/copilotsearch, and some tools list it as Bing Copilot. It is not the Copilot app at copilot.microsoft.com, which cloro does not scrape.
They are separate engines that answer from different search indexes, Bing's and Google's. A page cited in one is not automatically cited in the other, so track both if your buyers use both. cloro covers Google AI Mode on the same key and at the same 4 credits per request.
`text` is the answer. `sources` lists the pages Bing AI Mode cited, each with position, URL, label and description. `citationPills` lists the inline citations, each with its URL and domain. Set `include.markdown` for a Markdown version of the answer and `include.html` for the page HTML.
Every country except Belarus (BY), China (CN), Iran (IR), Russia (RU), Syria (SY) and Venezuela (VE). Pass `country` on each request. For the United States you can also pass a two-letter `state` code, such as `CA` or `NY`, to get the answer a searcher in that state sees.
A request is 4 credits on the async API, the same as Google AI Mode. A synchronous request adds 2 credits, and US state targeting adds 2 more, so a sync request with a state is 8 credits.
